Hello!

As you've probably realised by now my names Peter, before I continue on I would like to thank you for taking the time to look around my portfolio and get to know more about me and my work.

I'm a game developer and programmer specialised in Unity & C# with over 3 years of industry experience as of 2024, I'm a generalist developer who has worked in multiple disciplines ranging from UI, UX, AI, Gameplay, Tools, etc! However I have a strong passion for working on the core functionality behind various gameplay systems and developing tools to help streamline workflows for everyone involved.

I've always had a passion for games ever since I was young with an inquisitive mind that questioned and theorized over how people could possibly get these games and their mechanics working and eventually came to the realisation that this is what I wanted to do as my profession! I love technical challenges and figuring how various gameplay mechanics and systems are architected and at times having my own attempt at my own version of implementing them.

Eventually I came across the Unity Engine and was amazed by what I considered at the time to be the limitless potential and freedom the engine granted me in developing my games and skills needed to create those games. From this point I specialized in C#, learning first how I could create the mechanics and systems I envisoned in my mind and then later how I could optimize them to be more perfomant, wanting not just to make something that worked, but instead something that worked well.

As I continue my journey within the industry I look forward to evolving further as a developer to improve the standard of my work, wanting to push my boundaries and learn from the challenges I encounter along the way and to learn from the others around me as we work together towards a common goal, putting out quality games for people to enjoy.

Please enjoy the rest of my portfolio, and feel free to get in touch with any questions you may have!
